Jason Brown has played a key role in hundreds of criminal cases, from routine traffic tickets and DWI, to much more serious matters, such as first-degree murder, methamphetamine possession and distribution cases, criminal sexual conduct, fraud, theft, assault and others.
Early in Jason’s career, he served as a public defender, and law clerk to Judge Timothy R. Bloomquist, former Chief Judge of Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District.
In addition to his criminal defense work, he is frequently appointed by the courts to represent individuals facing civil commitment in Minnesota, including several level three sex offenders, and an accused murderer.
Jason is a former associate to one of Minnesota’s top trial attorneys, Fred Pritzker, and has tried a wide range of cases to a jury and the court. In some cases, Jason’s efforts have resulted in outright dismissal of criminal charges – both before, and during, trial.
