Minnesota Burglary Defense Attorney

Although burglary is most often associated with theft, burglary is defined as unlawfully breaking and entering another’s property with the intent of committing any criminal act.

There are four degrees, or classifications, of burglary in Minnesota. In most cases, burglary will be charged as a felony. The severity of charges, and potential penalties, vary depending on the type of building, the intended offense, and whether this intended criminal act was actually carried out.
